Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Florida provisional SLP license issued by the Department of Health
- Strong commitment to working with children and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Eligibility and willingness to complete fingerprinting or provide verification of recent Florida school district fingerprint clearance (AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Flexibility to work at different schools as needed to create a full-time role
- Dedication to timely completion of all onboarding and credentialing steps
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in conjunction with IEP teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with educators, families, and supervising SLP-CCC (supervision and stipends provided)
- Participate in internal video eligibility interviews and relevant school meetings
