Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow in vibrant West Palm Beach, FL, for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Work closely with students ranging from PreK to high school across multiple school sites, each offering unique caseloads spanning regular education, ASD, InD, DHH, and other specialties. This is an onsite position designed to provide meaningful clinical experience, professional growth, and required supervision for SLP-CFs.
You’ll receive expert guidance as you launch your career—supervision is available throughout your fellowship. Multiple locations across the county enable you to tailor your assignment to your interests and maximize your impact. Caseloads and age groups vary by site, offering flexibility and experience across diverse settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Provisional SLP license in Florida (Dept. of Health)
- Completion of degree requirements for SLP-CF
- Passion for supporting students’ communication needs and individualized learning goals
- Adaptability in collaborating with a multidisciplinary school team and adjusting to different campus environments
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools as needed
- Successful passing of fingerprinting and background checks (details provided regarding FL AHCA Clearinghouse transfer process)
- Open to candidates ready for a full-time (35 hours/week) school-year commitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services according to student IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, develop therapy plans, and maintain documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
- Actively engage in professional development, supervision sessions, and required district trainings
