Begin your clinical fellowship as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CF) in vibrant Palm Beach County, Florida. This full-time, on-site opportunity runs from August 10, 2026 through May 27, 2027, offering immersive experience across multiple campuses serving diverse student populations. Supervision is provided for clinical fellows, supporting your professional growth as you deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to children and adolescents.
Roles are available in various elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the county, with placements offering everything from regular education to specialized ASD, PreK, InD, and DHH caseloads based on assignment. FTE and age groupings differ by site, allowing you to tailor your experience according to your strengths and interests. Select your top three preferred school locations to personalize your assignment.
Desired Qualifications
- Active Florida provisional SLP license from the Department of Health
- Completion of, or eligibility for, school-based fingerprints and background clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse (with streamlined process for those previously fingerprinted in Florida)
- Strong clinical foundation and eagerness to learn within a school setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Only SLP-CF applicants considered; SLPAs are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation for students with speech-language needs
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate closely with educators, supervisors, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Engage actively in supervision and mentorship during your CFY experience
