The park itself covers 5,500 acres and features 47 hot springs that flow from Hot Springs Mountain with an average temperature of 143 degrees! Living up to its reputation as “The Natural State,” Arkansas’ Buffalo River is one of the few remaining unpolluted, free-flowing rivers in the continental US.
