What you’ll bring:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license (Department of Health)
- Completed or in-progress SLP-CFY program (SLPAs are not eligible)
- Desire to work onsite in a school setting (remote positions not offered)
- Flexibility to adapt to varied caseloads and assignments across PreK–grade 12
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing quickly (previous FL fingerprints may expedite the process if verifiable)
- Commitment to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and school staff
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting student communication needs
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to assigned students, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Progress monitor student outcomes and maintain detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving
- Adapt to changing caseloads, settings, and student needs as assigned
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and district requirements
- Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development throughout your fellowship
