Your assignments and caseloads will vary according to the specific needs and age groups at each location, ranging across elementary, middle, and high school populations. The positions are on-site only, fostering immersive, face-to-face connections with students and staff. Approved candidates will help support growth, communication, and academic success in a diverse, thriving district.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida provisional SLP License from the Department of Health.
- Eligibility for fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse; those with previous clearances must confirm status or complete reprints.
- Flexibility to work across multiple campuses to fulfill a full-time position, as assignments can be combined based on availability and preference.
- Enthusiasm for completing an internal video interview and proceeding swiftly through onboarding requirements.
- Position is exclusively for SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY); SLPAs are not eligible.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate effectively with supervising SLP-CCC, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with district and compliance standards.
- Facilitate IEP meetings, parent communications, and ongoing student evaluations.
This is a contract-based opportunity for full-time SLP Clinical Fellows, with start dates as soon as onboarding and credentialing are complete.
