As a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), you’ll play an essential part in helping PreK–12 students reach their communication potential. Start as soon as possible and work through May 28, 2027, contributing your expertise alongside a passionate educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
- Eligibility for or enrollment in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring strategies for mild to moderate speech/language needs
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Must complete Florida school fingerprinting and credentialing requirements (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification if applicable)
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability for itinerant, multi-site service
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse caseload, estimated at 60 students, across multiple schools (PreK–12th grade)
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment
- Serve as an itinerant SLP-CFY, traveling between assigned campuses as needed (final assignments to be confirmed)
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and required paperwork
