Embark on a meaningful opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) in a dynamic school-based setting near Middleburg, FL. This full-time contract role offers hands-on experience across multiple school sites, serving a diverse PreK–12 population with mild to moderate speech and language needs. As an itinerant provider, you'll support students throughout the academic year, making a significant impact on their communication skills and educational journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Florida
- Experience or practicum in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to working with children and adolescents from PreK through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments and design individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Deliver therapy services to a varied caseload, with an estimated 60 students (caseload may vary)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between assigned schools, which may include Ed White High School, Highlands Estates, Kernan Trail Elementary, Oak Hill Academy, Palm Avenue, Mayport Elementary, and Sally B Mathis
- Meet all onboarding and compliance requirements, including fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse and securing a JLA badge
