Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) SLP licensure required
- Current eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Willingness to travel itinerantly between assigned schools
- Must complete fingerprinting process, including verification through AHCA Clearinghouse if applicable
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, including those with more severe needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across multiple age groups and abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all state and district requirements
- Demonstrate effective communication with families and staff
- Travel as needed between multiple school sites within the district
