Step into a meaningful role as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, where you can develop your expertise with close supervision and make a real difference for students across multiple school sites near Lake Worth, Florida. This full-time, on-site contract runs from your earliest availability through the end of the academic year in May 2027, supporting a wide range of locations and caseloads within the county.
As a Clinical Fellow, you’ll benefit from robust supervision (not open to SLPAs), partnering directly with experienced SLP-CCC mentors to grow your clinical skills. Assignments cover a variety of age groups and settings—from elementary to high school—tailored to your interests and strengths, with opportunities in specialized programs such as ASD, DD, and AAC.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Active FL Provisional SLP License from the Department of Health
- Willingness to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting requirements (including AHCA Clearinghouse verification where applicable)
- Commitment to a full-time weekly schedule (35 hours per week)
- Flexibility to serve across multiple campuses, with schedules adaptable to create a single FTE position
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse team and participating in a structured supervision model
- Readiness to complete an internal video interview as part of the eligibility process
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessment and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Managing a dynamic and varied caseload (age and specifics vary by assignment)
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with school-based reporting
- Engaging with educators, families, and related service staff for student success
