Your key qualifications:
- Provisional Florida SLP license from the Department of Health (required prior to start)
- Completion of a graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY-eligible)
- Commitment to fulfilling all Florida fingerprinting and background check requirements; ability to complete verification if fingerprints already exist in the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Passion for working collaboratively with diverse student populations, caregivers, and multidisciplinary staff
- Flexibility to serve at multiple school sites, with assignments varying based on FTE and age group
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to students in accordance with IEPs
- Documenting progress and communicating regularly with educational teams and families
- Participating in team meetings, eligibility determinations, and the creation of service plans
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant licensing and district credentialing standards
- Taking part in supervision and mentorship for Clinical Fellows, fostering your professional growth
