Your background should include:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license issued by the Department of Health
- Eligibility for fingerprint background clearance (previous prints in the AHCA Clearinghouse can be verified)
- Commitment to complete credentialing and onboarding tasks promptly
- Passion for working with school-age children and collaborating with educational teams
- Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to travel between assigned school sites as needed
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing therapy and intervention for students in varied educational settings
- Supporting children from Pre-K through high school (caseloads and age groups vary by assignment)
- Collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and supervising SLP-CCCs
- Conducting individual and small group sessions addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Documenting goals, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and therapy requirements
