As an SLP-CF, you’ll be an essential support to students, helping them develop crucial communication skills in collaboration with dedicated school staff. Supervision is provided by experienced SLP-CCCs, ensuring strong mentorship as you advance your expertise during your fellowship year.
What You Bring:
- Active FL provisional SLP license from the Department of Health
- Completion of required fingerprinting and AHCA Clearance (or verification of existing prints)
- Ability to complete a timely internal video interview and onboarding process
- Passion for working with children and adapting to diverse student needs, including ASD, AAC, and general education settings
- Commitment to a full-time, 35-hour/week schedule distributed across multiple campus locations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language interventions for assigned caseloads (caseload makeup varies by site and FTE assignment)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress
- Participate in supervision and professional development through regular meetings with your SLP-CCC supervisor
This position offers start dates as soon as possible through the end of May 2027. Multiple assignment options are available across the county—combine locations to create a schedule that fits your goals. All positions are on-site; virtual assignments are not available.
