Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida provisional SLP license from the Department of Health
- Commitment to completing required fingerprinting (or verification of valid prints via the AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Eagerness to participate in an internal video interview for eligibility
- Passion for working with school-aged children across varying age groups and communicative needs
- Not accepting SLPAs for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to students according to assigned caseload and school locations
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and on-site supervisors to ensure student success
- Participate in meetings as needed, including IEP meetings and staff consultations
- Adapt interventions and therapy environments to fit the diverse needs of each assigned school community
This contract runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with placements and specific caseload details confirmed by June 1. Supervision is provided for CFs to ensure skill development and support as you build your clinical expertise.
