Preferred qualifications:
- Active Florida Provisional SLP License from the Department of Health (required)
- Commitment to complete all time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including FL school district fingerprinting and verification through the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Professionalism and adaptability within dynamic educational environments
- Passion for helping children and collaborating with school staff
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students’ communication needs within their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
- Maintain progress records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings and contribute to student success plans
