Work on-site with multiple elementary, middle, and high school populations, serving a diverse and vibrant student community across various campuses. Full-time positions (35 hours per week) are available, with the flexibility to combine locations within the county for a comprehensive FTE assignment. Professional supervision from experienced SLP-CCCs is provided, supporting your clinical fellowship growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Eligibility for or hold an active Florida provisional SLP license (Department of Health).
- Recent completion of or enrollment in a Speech Language Pathology graduate program.
- SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status; supervision for SLP-CC required.
- Ability to complete and maintain FL school district-required credentials, including fingerprint clearance.
- Commitment to on-site service (virtual/remote placement is not available).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ensuring collaboration across educational teams.
- Passion for working with diverse age groups (assignments and caseload vary by school).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language services to students, based on IEPs and educational plans.
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions in both general and special education settings.
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with faculty and parents.
- Manage varying caseloads, with assignments tailored across multiple school sites.
- Fulfill timely onboarding and credentialing requirements, including interviews and background checks.
- Engage in regular supervision meetings with dedicated SLP-CCCs.
