Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville, FL area! We're seeking seven dedicated Clinical Fellowship Year Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CFY) for an onsite position. Working approximately 35 hours per week, you'll be delivering vital speech and language services to a diverse Pre K–12 student population. This itinerant role will have you collaborating with various campuses, ensuring students with mild to moderate needs receive the support essential for their development. Start as soon as possible and continue making a positive impact until May 2027.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Candidates currently in or beginning their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) only
- School-based, pediatric, or clinical experience preferred
- Willingness to support several school locations as assigned
- Ability to serve a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing, or ability to verify prior clearance per Florida AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain JLA badge
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to students from Pre-K to 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators at multiple school sites
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with district standards
- Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
