Qualifications and Experience:
- Eligible for or currently completing Clinical Fellowship (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP License required.
- Fingerprinting required, with potential to verify previous Florida school district prints via AHCA Clearinghouse.
- Comfortable working with Pre K-12 students with mild to moderate speech and language needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant provider.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy and interventions to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records and follow protocols for credentialing and reporting.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students (to be finalized), adjusting as needed to support student needs across locations.
