Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcome
- Previous school-based experience or strong practicum background in a school environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students to identify needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and provide resources
- Maintain accurate documentation on assessments, intervention plans, and student progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development
