Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license and CCC credentials required
  • Prior experience working in a K-5 or elementary educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of evaluations, IEP development, and leading IEP meetings
  • Proven ability to provide guidance and supervision to SLPA staff
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services primarily to K-5th grade students, supporting approximately 80-85 youngsters
  • Supervise a full-time SLPA to optimize student support
  • Evaluate students, develop and implement IEPs, and lead all IEP meetings
  • Serve at a main site and occasionally provide services to a nearby charter school
  • Help create an inclusive, engaging, and successful learning environment
