Desired Qualifications:
- Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility/current application in process
- Experience in school settings desired, particularly with early childhood or early intervention populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse developmental needs
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, support-rich team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills for successful itinerant service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, screening, and direct therapy for children ages birth to five within the EI program
- Function as an essential member of an evaluation team, assisting in the development of individualized plans
- Deliver services across various locations, adapting to children’s unique environments and needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, session notes, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with families and EI team members to foster positive growth and communication development
