Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Strong leadership and supervision skills, able to guide and mentor a full-time SLPA
- Solid experience with evaluations, IEP development, and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-5th grade students
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Lead and facilitate IEP meetings with families and staff
- Supervise and collaborate closely with a full-time SLPA
- Work with a variety of needs across two sites—a main campus and a charter school—providing direct and consultative services
- Communicate progress and therapy goals clearly with teachers, parents, and other professionals
