School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | North Plains, Oregon

In this role, you'll provide critical speech and language interventions and help shape individualized education plans for approximately 80-85 students. You’ll anchor your work at a primary site, with the opportunity to assist students at a nearby charter school as well. This position invites you to collaborate closely with educational teams, families, and your SLPA to ensure every child’s success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Experience in school-based settings and working with K-5th graders preferred
- Previous leadership in IEP meetings and supervising SLPA staff a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
- Lead IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
- Supervise and mentor a full-time SLPA, delegating tasks appropriately
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Serve students at one main campus and assist at a charter school as needed
