Key Skills and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary populations
- Strong understanding of evaluation tools, therapy approaches, and IEP processes
- Ability to lead and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience providing supervision to SLPAs or similar support staff is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized IEPs
- Lead IEP meetings and serve as a subject matter expert for families and staff
- Deliver direct therapy services to K–5 students, adapting strategies to diverse learning needs
- Supervise and mentor a full-time SLPA in daily tasks and professional development
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other providers across two school environments
