Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in audiology (Au.D.) required
- Current and valid state licensure as an Audiologist and/or Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience providing therapy in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, intervention techniques, and care planning
- Effective communicator, able to work closely with patients, families, and medical staff
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and ethical practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Utilize advanced audiological evaluation equipment and techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Document progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with hospital policies
- Educate patients and caregivers on disorders, therapeutic approaches, and home care recommendations
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care as needed
