Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) required
- Valid state licensure for practice as an SLP or Audiologist
- Previous hospital-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions for individuals with speech, language, or auditory disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards of practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse speech, language, and hearing disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions within a hospital environment, adapting techniques to meet patient-specific needs
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued success beyond the clinical setting
