This full-time, onsite contract position spans from August 10 through September 22, where you’ll play a key role in supporting students during a Leave of Absence coverage. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current or eligible licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Previous experience working in healthcare or pediatric settings highly valued
- Demonstrated knowledge of school-based SLP practices, IEP process, and high school caseload management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student progress and collaboration with educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to high school students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide individualized and group interventions aligned with educational goals
- Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records
- Adapt services as needed to support academic and functional success within the school context
