Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Prior experience in a school setting, high school caseload preferred
- Background in pediatric/teen SLP assessment and intervention
- Familiarity with delivering SLP services within IEP frameworks
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about supporting adolescent learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students
- Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs), documenting progress and updating goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication strategies across learning environments
- Consult with families to promote carry-over of skills into home and community settings
- Participate in meetings regarding student progress and service planning
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations
