Essential qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students in grades K–12
- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing tailored intervention plans for students with communication disorders
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintaining accurate records and progress reports
- Providing consultative support and resources to educational teams and families
