Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Illinois
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads
- Background in working with early childhood, elementary, or K–12 populations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary evaluations
