Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech Language endorsement
- Current Illinois State License (IDFPR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; strong Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) encouraged to apply
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Adaptable mindset and strong communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- SLP-As will be considered only if specifically noted
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs for students with communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student progress
- Document services provided and student progress according to district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and certifications
