Key Qualifications:
- Active ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language (SL) endorsement
- Illinois State License (IDFPR) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Willingness to work onsite for 37.5 hours per week
- Bilingual skills are essential
- CF-SLPs (first-year clinicians) are encouraged to apply
- SLP-Assistants considered only with explicit note of SLP-A status
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language interventions to a diverse student caseload (placement specifics to be determined)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for effective therapy strategies
