Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Background in serving varied caseloads, including students with moderate to profound communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in grades K–12, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and progress monitoring
- Engage with families and educators to support students' therapy goals in school settings
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
