Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact with K–12 students with diverse needs, from moderate to profound, in a collaborative, supportive school environment. Both experienced local and travel SLPs are encouraged to apply—caseload can be matched to your background and preference, ensuring a fulfilling professional experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows will also be considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Background in serving varied caseloads, including students with moderate to profound communication needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to students in grades K–12, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and progress monitoring
  • Engage with families and educators to support students' therapy goals in school settings
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
