What you'll bring:
- ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language (SL) endorsement
- Current Illinois State License through IDFPR
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with skills in bilingual assessment and intervention
- Experience in school settings preferred; however, strong new graduates (CF-SLPs) are welcome to apply
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, adapting approaches to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student communication, social, and academic success
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to meetings and eligibility conferences
