Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois SLP license and/or ability to obtain
- Previous school-based, pediatric, or early childhood SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work with both moderate and profound student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Document services delivered and maintain compliance with state and district standards
