Pediatric Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist - Chatham, Illinois

This full-time contract position covers the entire 2026–2027 academic year, offering you the chance to deliver high-quality care to diverse caseloads. Serving children from early childhood through elementary and beyond, you’ll tailor your approach to meet each student’s unique needs—whether they require moderate or profound support. Caseload assignments are determined by your background and preferences, ensuring you work where you excel. Both local professionals and travel SLPs are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered with strong pediatric experience
- Previous experience in pediatric, early childhood, and elementary settings highly desirable
- Understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for students across the full K–12 spectrum
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
