Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois (or eligibility)
- Experience in pediatric, early childhood, or elementary school settings highly valued
- Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaborative best practices
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K–12 students, monitoring both progress and engagement
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Conduct assessments and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate records and reports
- Consult with teachers, families, and support personnel to facilitate student success
