Ideal Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Effective experience with pediatric populations or within school-based settings
- Familiarity with early childhood and elementary caseloads, as well as K–12 support models
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to a range of caseload needs, from moderate to profound
- Commitment to fostering communication, inclusion, and student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
- Document progress, update goals, and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide resourceful, compassionate interventions in both individual and group settings
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to advocate for student needs
