We are actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive school district in Henrico, VA for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity serving a K-12 student population at a single school location.
The district has multiple openings and is looking for an experienced SLP to support existing onsite needs while helping replace remote service providers. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication success while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student progress
- Supervise and mentor 1-2 Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Support students with articulation, language disorders, social communication, AAC, and related speech-language needs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
