Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Prior experience working in school settings, especially with middle and high school populations, is highly desirable
- Bilingual Spanish abilities are preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing onsite services only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and social communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure cohesive support for each student's goals
- Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Engage in student-centered problem-solving and participate in IEP meetings
- Facilitate positive learning environments that encourage student participation and growth
