Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stony Creek, VA
Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)! Two professionals are needed for a contract position serving a diverse caseload across 1-3 school sites. With supervision provided virtually for SLPA’s, you’ll have the guidance and resources you need to make a meaningful difference. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026 through May 21, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP license or eligible for licensure in Virginia
- SLP-CCC required for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Open to credentialed SLPAs (virtual SLP supervision provided)
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 populations
- Familiarity with IEP process, therapy planning, and data documentation
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions on-site to K-12 students
- Assess and document student progress, updating goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely records per district and state requirements
- Travel between up to three school sites as scheduled
