As a travel SLP, you'll be immersed in collaborative school teams comprised of special education supervisors, social workers, psychologists, and other SLPs. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- PEL (Professional Educator’s License) for IL schools via ISBE
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 35–45 students (35 hours/week)
- Collaborate with 3–5 SLPs and a multidisciplinary team in each school
- Conduct evaluations, eligibility and IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy and RtI support
