This full-time role spans multiple school sites, focusing on a caseload of up to 50 preschool students (ages 3-5). You’ll collaborate closely with another SLP on-site, gaining valuable exposure to different workplace cultures and leadership philosophies while honing your pediatric and school-based skills. The school community is also seeking OT support, opening doors for interdisciplinary learning and collaboration. Your efforts will directly impact children's early development, and you'll expand your resume by mastering new approaches and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Clinical fellows (CFY) and experienced SLPs (CCC) welcome
- Experience in school, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy settings preferred
- SLPA candidates considered for relevant roles
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for preschool students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with onsite SLP, staff, and families
- Contribute to team meetings and student progress reporting
- Travel between multiple school locations as needed
