Make an impact working with preschool students in a dynamic educational environment near Oxnard, CA. This contract opportunity is perfect for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants seeking full-time hours within a supportive setting. You’ll work across multiple school sites, collaborating with another SLP and serving a caseload of up to 50 children, ages 3-5.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP licensure (CCC or CFY) or SLPA certification
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, pediatric, or teletherapy settings
- Strong skills in early childhood speech and language development
- Effective communicator who thrives in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfortable navigating multiple school sites and adapting to different learning environments
- Commitment to providing high-quality services to diverse preschool populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to preschool students
- Conduct assessments, create individualized educational plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with another on-site SLP for consultation and support
- Work closely with occupational therapists to address comprehensive needs
- Communicate regularly with teachers and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
