Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship year are not being considered for these roles.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience delivering SLP services to school-aged children, including in-person and teletherapy formats
- Background in IEP documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and providing direct and indirect (consultative) services
- Familiarity with healthcare, educational, and pediatric SLP best practices
- Strong organizational skills with flexibility to serve multiple sites as part of an itinerant team
- Ability to navigate or quickly learn electronic IEP systems (training provided)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and design comprehensive intervention plans
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide documentation, and maintain compliance with district standards
- Collaborate with teachers and staff, consult with families, and contribute to inclusive school supports
- Allocate indirect service and administrative time; attend and participate in paid team meetings
- Flexibly manage caseloads across multiple locations with paid travel as needed
