Position Overview: Two full-time openings are available:
- First position: Start mid-August 2026 (pending approval) through November 4, 2026.
- Second position: Start mid-August 2026 (pending approval) through January 4, 2027, with a possible extension. Typical hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Requirements & Desired Experience:
- Valid CA SLP license (ASHA CCC required; teletherapy experience a plus)
- Experience with pediatric populations in school settings
- Contractors in their Clinical Fellowship year (CFY) cannot be considered
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based SLP duties
- Ability to work across multiple sites in an itinerant capacity
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and IEP management systems is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Provide consultative support to educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district policies
- Actively participate in paid team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
