Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ventura, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity in California serving preschool students as a dedicated speech-language professional. This full-time position runs from ASAP through June 17, 2026, offering the chance to support young learners across multiple school sites. With another experienced SLP at your side, you’ll help shape the communication skills of students aged 3-5, collaborating with supportive teams in dynamic school environments.
You’ll have the benefit of engaging with a manageable caseload of up to 50 kiddos, focusing on a developmental stage where early intervention can be life-changing. The school also has occupational therapy needs, providing exciting opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- California SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in school-based or pediatric speech therapy
- Knowledge of teletherapy best practices is highly valued
- Experience supporting students in the 3-5 year age range
- Team and collaborative spirit—work closely with another SLP and school professionals
- SLPA candidates with school or healthcare experience also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to preschool-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Serve students at multiple school locations while coordinating with other professionals
- Celebrate student progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Support caseload management and documentation in accordance with district guidelines
