Pediatric School-Based SLP | Oxnard, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool students as an experienced or early-career Speech-Language Pathologist or Assistant. This full-time position focuses on providing vital communication support to children aged 3 to 5 years old across multiple school sites. Desired background and requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or relevant SLP/SLPA credentials (CFY welcome)
- Current or eligible California licensure for SLP or SLPA
- Preferred experience in school, pediatric, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
- Ability to manage caseloads, conduct assessments, provide therapy, and collaborate on IEPs
- Commitment to best practices in early intervention and special education
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language intervention to preschool students
- Participate in screenings, evaluations, and IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, OT, families, and school staff for student success
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal mandates
- Support inclusion and growth in a multi-disciplinary team environment
