This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) is designed for a professional who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of younger learners. The position begins as soon as possible and will extend through June 4, 2026, providing vital leave coverage for the ECSE SLP for the remainder of the school year, with potential for summer evaluations.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working within school settings and/or with early childhood populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and individualized education planning
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload of early childhood and school-age students
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver targeted interventions in coordination with educational staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative planning sessions
- Potential to handle summer evaluations as determined by district needs
