Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Offer support and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate students’ success in the classroom
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine best practices for each student
- Adapt therapy approaches based on students’ cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) in Minnesota
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially early childhood and elementary students
- Background in serving students with mild to profound communication needs is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to manage a dynamic and varied caseload
