Qualifications for Success:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for license as an SLP
- Prior experience with pediatric populations (early childhood and elementary experience preferred)
- Familiarity with a diverse spectrum of student needs, from moderate to profound
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to individual student progress and IEP goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to K–12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address communication challenges and support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the collaborative educational process
- Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for students with varying speech and language needs
