You’ll serve a diverse population of students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, providing essential support for those with a range of communication needs—from moderate to profound.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood and elementary school settings
- Familiarity with developing IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working with caseloads of varying complexity
- Strong organizational, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive student support
- Deliver therapy services ranging from consultative to intensive intervention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services delivered
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
