Key Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP license for Illinois
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Proven experience delivering services in a school-based setting
- Comfortable with virtual platforms and technology for teletherapy
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and progress
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing virtual tools
- Support teachers, staff, and families with consultative services and in-service presentations
- Maintain accurate records, including documentation of progress and compliance with IEP goals
- Participate in virtual meetings (IEPs, eligibility, parent-teacher conferences)
- Collaborate with a team of education professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
