Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Valid SLP state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desired
  • Comfort with teletherapy platforms and blended on-site/remote service delivery
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and case management abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for a diverse caseload of students
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations in school and virtual environments
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support student success
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress
  • Provide guidance and resources for families and staff on communication strategies
  • Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and program development
