Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid SLP state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desired
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and blended on-site/remote service delivery
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication, documentation, and case management abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for a diverse caseload of students
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations in school and virtual environments
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Provide guidance and resources for families and staff on communication strategies
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and program development
