Desired Qualifications:

- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and caregivers
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic caseload and uphold professional documentation standards
Role Expectations:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student objectives
- Deliver direct therapy to students, adapting methods to a variety of ages and communication challenges
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding augmentative and alternative communication strategies when needed
- Participate in school team meetings and provide input for student success
